    Hi.

I'm just wondering if drinking diluted water with the likes of Ribena or Kia Ora still counts towards your recommended 3 litres a day or what ever it is?

Or are there negative sides to putting a little flavour in the water?

    Cheers.

    A: It's 2 litres, not three.
B: Yes, of course it does. So does tea, coffee, coke, & fanta. Also, most food - even stuff that seems dry like bread and biscuits - contains quite alot of water. It all counts.

Also you should note that, while it doesn't do you harm to drink alot of water, and indeed it's good for alot of things, don't fall for the myth that you 'must' drink X amount of water per day. Drink when you're thirsty and you'll be grand.

I reckon it wouldn't be the best for your teeth if you're sipping on it all day...

The cruel folks at miwadi/robinsons have taken away half the sugar in their standard squashes and replaced it with yucky sweetners :( So the tooth issue is somewhat lessened.

Dliuted cordial is a good remedy for dehydration during illness and it does no harm except to the teeth.

Most of the drinks brands like Robinsons have sugar free options now.
