Heathrow actually .... it was sitting on what used to be the cross runway , not sure where it is now.

There is one in Brooklands, one in Manchester , one in Duxford not sure where else in the UK

Of course there is one in Le Bourget , Bermuda , NY ( on carrier in the river ) , thats off the top of my head.

I didn't realise Filton was open to the public either. I'd love to go there myself.

I've seen Concorde on display in both Brooklands and Duxford and highly recommend visiting both places. Especially Duxford, which is a must see for anyone with an interest in aviation. Both places are within easy reach of London.

Enjoy Filton L_Bonn and let us know what its like.

I was at the Filton one 2 years ago. Interesting bus trip through the Airbus complex and don't dare try to photograph any of the factory! ;)

Nice guys doing the tour itself, they used to work on it in some way in the past so you can ask them all kinds of interesting questions after the tour. Well worth a visit. Filton is easy to access from the M4/M5 and is near Cribbs Causeway.

I took my sons to the one at the Museum of Flight, East Fortune, Scotland and they loved it

Ya Filton is open to Public but closing in October as Concorde is being moved to a hanger for what is termed maintenance by airbus. It is widely believed by those in the know that this is just a cover story as Airbus wish to close the visitor centre & it is now feared that the airframe will be left to rot in an unused hanger until things quiten down & then possibly be disposed of.
If this is the case it is sad as the one in filton is the most intact in the uk and has been kept as much as possible in the condition in which it landed. Would be terrible if someone is allowed to destroy it.

I was on the one on display in New York, down by the USS Intrepid - couldn't believe how small it was in the flesh.

There was also an SR-71 on the carrier, along with a collection of fighter jets.

I was in Duxford on Tuesday. A full day wouldn't do the place justice.

I'll post some pictures over the next few days.
