N97 text problem

    For the last couple of days my phone hasnt rang when I receive a text. "1 Message Received" also does not come up on the home screen and the icon at the top right doesnt show up either. To see if I have a new message I have to go to the Inbox and check.

    Any ideas what the problem is?

    Where have you got your sms saving to?

    messaging > options > settings > other > memory in use

    How many messages do you have?


    Are you running V21? *#0000# will tell you

    there was a few thousand messages in the inbox. I deleted them, its working now. Thanks for the help.
