Im considering returning to the security industry after ten years working in another industry. I have over ten years experience in the security industry at basic level and supervisory level including retail, control room, mobile driver, store detective, investigations and door man. I have been in touch with the PSA and they told me they do not recognize my experience and I will have to attend two courses to allow me work as a static guard and door supervisor. Im a bit frustrated that ten years experience counts for nothing and I have to start from scratch.
There is a list of course providers on the PSA website and I was wondering if anyone can recommend who would be the best ?
