Does anyone have any experiences with providers?

Currently on a dedicated 2mb/2mb package which is maxing out so i want to check out the competition before upgrading.

Im certain that would depend on your location and distance from the exchange. If you give more details on where the business is based you may have better solutions available to you. Fibre, Cable etc.

If you are on an unbundled exchange Smart offer a bonded SDSL variant so you can get multiple pairs upping the bandwidth significantly. Its still pricey compared to adsl but cheaper than an equivalent fiber or leased line connection.

Magnet may be able to offer something similar.

Magnet can bond multiple lines together in increments of 2mb/2mb.

Have you considered looking into a wireless provider? I know that Irishbroadband/Imagine do "leased line" replacement products on their licensed 10.5Ghz network.
