    Hi again,

    Another question if I may.

Is there a good whole foods store I can buy good quality seeds and nuts from ?

Dublin city centre or south county pls.

    Thanks

To be honest, I'm quite happy with the ones you can buy in M&S, Tesco or Dunnes.

Holland & Barrett often do good deals on large bags.
There's one in Tesco I love , called "Breakfast topper", mix of nuts, seeds and dried fruit. only €1.35.

Good value nuts in Lidl and Aldi. Broader selection in Aldi generally.

The Dunnes "bake with" range are 3for2 at the mo. I got a small bag of brazils, cashews, and walnuts for just under €2.

I actually find I much prefer the nuts from Tesco than Dunnes to be honest. They taste much fresher to me (maybe higher turnover by whoever supplies them) and a couple of bags of brazil nuts that I got in Dunnes were very bland and about a third of the packet were orange inside. I can testify that the Brazil nuts in tesco (the whole foods range ones anyway) are suitably nyom :) (too nyom in fact :o) But try a few different brands if you like, as it is subjective at the end of the day I guess, but I certainly find there can be variation between them.

+1 to tescos. Anytime H&B have a special on i usually stock up there too to last me a while.

Just to say I noticed in tesco the 175g bags of almonds are 2 for €4 which is a steal. It runs until the 9 sept i think. Normally I buy the big 300g bag for about €4.50 or so but it's better value to buy the smaller bags at the moment :)

Listons on Camden Street have a decent variety of both.
