    Hi Tonto

This is not a squat rack it is a Smith machine, and for squats Smith machines are like drugs, Just say NO!! :D:D

Seriously this will not allow you use a natural range of motion. You will be tied into the range of motion provided by the machine. Also with these machines you lose out on working your stabiliser muscles that would be worked with proper squats.

    Best Regards,

    M

Spot on. Thanks for the replies.

Moved onto free weight squats today, lost 20kg of the weight but it did feel like i was working harder.
