Non-Standing exercises

Right so, in an attempt to fully heal from a stress fracture in my foot, I'm getting rid of any exercise that might put pressure on it whatsoever. My doctor told me that anything but squats would be alright as long as I could keep the pressure on my heels, but I'm just gonna bypass my feet completely now (as much as possible anyway).

So I'm trying to make a weight routine using only seated and lying exercises ( I suppose standing isolation would do fine though because they won't be too heavy). Bench, sitting military presses, pull/chin ups, and one armed rows are the major exercises I can think of basing my workouts around but I'm lookinng for more. Preferably exercises that are as close to the big compounds as possible.

Any suggestions on other exercises I can do? Thanks guys!

    Hi Carl

I am really sorry, but I feel that I can't leave this thread open in case you receive suggestions that thought well meant, cause you any further injury or set back.

You really should discuss exercise options with your GP/Physio and get a qualified opinion on what you could possibly do that would not cause you further problems or lengthen your recovery period

Again sorry we can't be more help and best wishes for a speedy recovery,

    M
