Hi, I know this is a popular question i.e. wedding present suggestions, but my friend’s recent wedding was a bit unconventional. We weren’t invited to the wedding, meal etc. (family only) but instead invited to a ‘party’ the following night with music and finger food. He is a fairly good friend so I would like to get a ‘decent’ gift. However, we spent a good bit when accommodation, travel costs etc. are taken into account. Generally speaking when I attend a wedding I would usually give a monetary present which would cover the cost of my meal etc. (approx. 200 euro per couple) This isn't the case in this situation! Any suggestions on what to give for this wedding are gratefully appreciated
