I can't speak to that particular course, especially when it's only recently available, but I did an MA with Leicester and was very happy with their distance learning program. They've been doing these courses for a while and know their stuff.

I never had any communication problems with the college, the materials provided were very extensive and never arrived late (even though I moved about eight times during the course :)). The online facilities such as journals, etc. were excellent too. Part-time degrees are far tougher than doing one full-time, but very rewarding.

So yeah, I can't recommend them highly enough.

I lived in Leicester for a number of years, and I worked with the Archaeology Unit there, as well as in the Museum after hours (19 years ago - blimey!). The Leicester degree has always been highly regarded, and the MA by distance is also a popular option for many. I would have no hesitation in recommending this course, though you'd have a better feel for the subject by attending a University full-time or part-time in person.
