Sheamus out, calls Americans spoiled and picks on the kids in the crowd, he says Randy Orton should never get a title shot. General Manager e-mail – respect to Sheamus and says bring out the throne a throne is brought out. A series of matches will take place and Sheamus gets to pick his opponent .

First macth for Sheamus to pick is edge vs. R-truth – Spear miss lie detector miss another spear, edge wins. Edge says until Sheamus beats edge hes no one

The Great Khali vs Chris Jericho – Jericho makes khali tap with the walls, then tells Sheamus to choose him but Khali gets up and chops Jericho off the top rope

Jillian Hall out she sings but Melina cuts her off, Jillian vs Melina for the divas title. Melina wins off the primal scream

Lay-cool on the tron, they say they have an offer for Melina at night of champions. Miz in the back he says he didn't cash in on Sheamus because he was thinking of team WWE and John Cena needs to pay for replacing him with Daniel at Summerslam

Nexus out, gm e-mail gm says he was impressed by Nexus and lifts the ban on nexus in title matches. Wade Barrett says the truce between Sheamus and nexus over.

John Cena vs. The Miz. Danielson runs in and hits the Miz causing the DQ, he throws Miz in the ring attitude adjustment by Cena then Danielson gets Miz in a crossface until refs pulls him off.

Danielson returns during commercial to beat up miz again.

Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov vs. The Usos (with Tamina). Kozlov wins with the Samba slam, then Tamina blows Santino a blow gun kiss.

Ted DiBiase (with Maryse) vs. John Morrison vs. Randy Orton. RKO to Morrison from a top rope jump, Orton wins then RKOs DiBiase for fun.

Sheamus is going to make his decision. Sheamus says he's defending his title and he's picking .. Zack Ryder. Braugh kick, Sheamus wins (seriously, one move). Sheamus says now that he defended the title he's taking a month off, Wade Barrett out – he's cashing in his NXT winner price at Night of the Champions. GM E-mail. Says he's upholding Barrett's request but it will be a 6 pack challenge – Sheamus vs. Barrett vs. Y2J vs. Orton vs. Edge vs. Cena. Jericho, Edge, Cena, Orton and Sheamus beat up Barrett then each other with Orton hitting the RKO on Cena last.

Penn

Sheamus is bound to lose the title now. Barretts title shot is wasted.

At least The Miz will almost definitely be defending the title against Bryan at NOC.

And with the Womens title broken in half and this offer by Laycool, possible

Sheamus will be dropping the belt next month by the looks of things. They're really weakening him at the moment. Maybe it's to build him up strong when he overcomes everyone but I doubt it somehow.

This sounds like a good episode. It seems a bizarre way to treat Barrett's title shot though. If the GM is aligned with Nexus as I've always assumed then I don't know why he would put Barrett in with so many people. Perhaps the GM is going to be revealed at NOC and help Barrett take the belt. It does seem like Sheamus's run with the belt is coming to an end.

Sheamus insulting the kids was the highlight of the episode, but the terrible booking made Sheamus look like an idiot at the end - why, if you were given the opportunity to choose your opponent for the next supershow would you use it on anyone before then? The 30 days rule doesn't wash in any way - he defended the title at Sumerslam, so if he waited until NoC he'd have 60 days between major title defences. He could choose Hornswoggle for NoC for all it mattered, theorically. They simply boxed themselves into another storyline corner. The idea was fine on paper but in practice it could only end up making a heel champion look stupid.

It seemed brave booking to give Barett a world title shot, but knowing the WWE a tired old donkey of a twist had to be wheeled out - more John Cena and Randy Orton main event appearences, and Edge's ubiquity isn't far behind. Even a Barett-Orton triple treat would have been more appealing, though a break from the Orton-Cena main event axis would have been the most welcome suprise of the year.

Also the booking this week was as utterly perdictable as I've ever seen - if you couldn't guess each and every result you've wandered onto the wrong forum.

And finally.. the 'braugh kick'. That is all.

Loved the child who pointed at Sheamy and said he sucked. Brilliant. Very average Raw this week. Little or no Nexus interaction which makes it clear that with Skip out they will only focus on pushing Wade.

Loved the Zack Ryder match. Even the woo woo woo promo at the start was fantastic.

This. Easily the best thing about Raw at the moment. He looked right at home on that throne.

Average Raw yes, Jericho shone again. Loved the back and forth banter between Cole and Lawler for once.

Last nights show was recorded last week just after Summerslam, so I think he did not get injured till later that week. I think why we got so little Nexus was because they were featured so heavily on the last show and they were worried that the live crowd may have just got really fed up with them over 4 hours.

Very annoyed at the lack of Hart Dynasty last night. I realize that it was all about getting the Raw main event for NOC out in the open but seriously, wtf with this tag division?

Maybe they'll surprise me and appear on Smackdown this week :pac:

Having somehow without any intention ignoring the spoilers for this week's Raw I saw the cast member of True Blood who was highlighted in the crowd last week behind the annouce team and it all fit in place.

I'm sure it was fun for the WWE fans to get a taste of the old TNA trick of talking about what happen 20 minutes ago as if it was last week. Not bad value tickets, either!
