I was listening to the Ray Foley show on Today Fm and he was talking about this site http://www.mccdeal.com.

Apparently it's completely legit and you get your Apple warrenty as well.

I'm wondering, has anyone here used this site and if so how did you get on?

I'm in the market for a Macbook Pro at the moment but this just seems too good to be true. I mean look at the spec and the price HERE and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Now I know the rule is "if it seems too good to be true, it is" so don't bother posting that, but if anyone has used this site or knows someone who has, please give me a shout.

    .

Was there any evidence of this?

Seems a standard chinese scam site TBH. Googling brings up this:

Firstly its Ray Foley! I'm not going to post my opinion of the guy because it would get boards in trouble....

Secondly if its too good to be true then it is dodgy as hell.

    simple really to tell:

    Domain Name: MCCDEAL.COM
    Registrar: XIN NET TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION
    Whois Server: whois.paycenter.com.cn
    Referral URL: http://www.xinnet.com
    Name Server: NS.XINNET.CN
    Name Server: NS.XINNETDNS.COM
    Status: ok
    Updated Date: 21-dec-2009
    Creation Date: 21-dec-2009
    Expiration Date: 21-dec-2010

Dodgy, stay away, and Ray Foley is not very smart to be advertising it on national radio.

A mate of mine has used this site and he's ordered two LCD tv's, a phone and he's also sold some stuff he got from them. Only problem he's ever had was that one of the TVs got held up in customs and he had to pay an extra 70 quid onto the 500 he had paid. But in fairness the retail value on the tv was something like a grand anyway

I'd be very very wary of this site.

It is not real. It is a complete scam site. They are all the same. They have motorbikes for less than 1/10 the price ffs.

Not really ,you'd be surprised to find out how many people register to promote their business, website or product;)

Anyways stay well away from this website, Web of trust just threw this at me
