    I remember it well.

    It's funny how a man who needed help tying his shoe laces, managed to hang himself with a length of electrical flex. Interesting book on the subject here, and his son speaks about it here *

    it was always claimed that the British were not blocking his release but the russians. apparently they were to release him when he 'commited suicide' .
    in 2026 the British will open their files on him, presumably enough time will have passed by then.
