    Hi all -

Got a full service there recently, where the all the front brake pads were replaced - from a local garage (not a main dealer) for 180 euro :pac:

Would that be consider a reasonable/good/fair price?
(car is a 1999 Nissan Primera)

    Thanks in advance
    Screwballs.

local garage to me for €130 for a diesel car including fuel filter oil,oil filter and tracking plus a once over all around

for your brakes to be included not a bad price

€180 isnt too shabby I wouldnt have thought, not when it included brake pads.

Just the pads, not the discs too? Sounds like a lot to me for just the front pads.

Edit: Sorry, including the service that sounds fine.

Brake pads supply & fit should be around €60-80 and a full service around the same, maybe a few quid more, depending on the mechanic, so €180 is a reasonable enough price.

jesus, i got rode a month ago so. got the car serviced by a fiat dealer, €280 for the service, €140 for the pads (fitted), €420 all in.

edit: should've mentioned, the car is an '06 grande punto

They didn't get the nickname "main stealer" for
    nothing.

Op that price sounds ok, a full service alone in most Indys is €100.

That sounds very expensive. I pay €200 for a standard service for a Subaru Forester 2.5XT with the main dealer.

Serviced my own car and it cost me €90 for oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, took me ages, car wouldn't start after exchanging fuel filter, ruined a good fleece, had oil in my hair for a week and that is without even looking at the brakes...
Only thing about cheap servicing: You never know what oil they put in, so ask beforehand and make sure it's not cheap sh*t, otherwise that cheap service ain't worth it!
