    Hi all,

I recently got a Behringer BCD3000 off a guy on adverts, now I'm looking for a decent set of headphones and a decent microphone (wired or wireless, I'm open to opinions) to use with it.

Could ye recommend firstly a top of the range set of headphones and a top of the range mic

    and

Secondly, recommend a set of headphones and mic around a budget of about €200ish, give or take

I've heard Shure are the type of microphones to go for, pros and cons on them??

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
    Steve

Top of the range as in large professional studio quality, or top of the range as in as good as you'll ever need?

You can spend thousands on mics, but I'm not going to bother list them.

Mic: Shure SM57/SM58, depending on what you need it for. They're great, and affordable.

Headphones: Sennheiser HS25 II. Brilliant headphones. More or less the best you can get.

You can get both of them for not far off €200, and if you went second hand you could probably get both for under it. You'll also never need to upgrade with them.

What's the mic for by the way?

Sorry, I meant to say, they would be used for gigs like 21st, parties etc!
