Insect Bites gone mad 2010

    I always have bad reactions to insect bites but this year is especially worse, had to go an antibiotics and steroids. Loadsa people living in Cork City seem to have same problem this year, any reasons why????

    I have observed higher numbers of spiders, flies, and wasps this summer. I have also observed less swallows. But funnily enough more house martins.

    I guess the weather this summer was in line with other recent summers but the heavy winter chill might have something to do with this. Whatever the cause, conditions have been very good for insects in Ireland this summer!

    Wasps and flies don't have long left now anyway.
