    So finally took the plunge and got married.

    i pay a hefty amount of tax @ 41% each year but the wife doesnt hit near her STD cut off point

    do i have to wait until the end of the year to submit a cliam or can i apply to join us together now and avail of tax breaks?

    I reakon she has about 10000 higher bracket i could take
