Just reading how Cardiff will soon be home to Britains second Hooters eatery after it was discovered that "women with a Welsh accent dressed in tight t-shirts handling cooked food" did not contravene any regulations. The chain of USA fast food sellers have plans for nearly 40 in the UK by 2012 (a coincedence? I think not!).

So is Ireland next? I remember when Captain America was the only yankee styled resturant in the entire country, now variations on that theme are in every town and suburb. Would adding tits make the experience any more edifying?

I think there was a discussion about this a couple of weeks ago. CBA looking.
I'm sure the church will be against it, which will mean there will only be one and it will be in the hedonistic city of Dublin.

Has anyone who would be against a Hooters ever been in one? its just a restaurant, and the waitresses wear vests and shorts, thats it. theres no tits on display, its unrefined by its own admission and thats the point. Their buffalo wings are amazing though

Be cool if we got one, just one more thing to get the churchgoing grannies one step closer to an aneurysm.

They should give it an Irishcentric name though, Diddies or something.

I have been to a few Hooters in US , good looking girls in shorts and vests and those horrible skin coloured tights.

Food is good but heart attack inducing.

I wouldn't have a problem with a place like this. Ireland needs more diversity! only thing is I'd like to see more normal girls, like actual Irish girls, and not tanned up etc...
