    Hey peeps
my hair is very fine and i want to invest in it. I want hair extensions like Rosanna D's here:

Im afraid to order clip ins off internet - Jessica Simpson ones - cause of the colour, im a mix of light, ash, golden blonde.
However, clips in would be better ....
I noticed Jessica Simpson Hairdo are sold in HairSpray in Dublin. Thing is, I cant travel to the big smoke for them.
Im wondering is there anywhere in Cork City which do extensions like Rosanna Davisons ? Will her type of extension add shape and volume?
And are Jessica Simpson HairDo sold anywhere in Cork?? Also, will they add shape and volume?
Or do i have to travel to Dublin? I asked in Peter Marks and they said they dont do them!

    Please help
    Thanks
    LC

    Hi-
just had the worst extensions applied by Jackie the owner of Asmara extensions. Big disaster.First the quality of her 'Remy' hair was terrible. I've had extensions in several times before and never seen such poor quality hair. I was advised by Jackie to go for 'wavy' extensions as my hair is quite short. I even sent her photos to confirm that my hair was indeed the right length and that they would blend so it would look good. She said my hair was the perfect length. The result was my hair looked like a cap or helmut over the extensions. They did not blend well at all.The bonds were also visible on top of my head and at the side. The wavy hair was bushy and rough also. I told her I wasnt happy and she said there was nothing she could do. I was so upset and when I got home even tried to remove them myself. I had to get them removed on a Sunday, so you can imagine how much that cost!!!
I really dont want anyone to go through what I did. Your hair is so important and Asmara is poor quality hair applied by a woman who gives bad advice and offers poor quality customer service.
While having them removed, I was told the problem was my hair was too short and that was why they didnt blend well. The hairdresser also said they looked shabby and came out so easily they wouldnt have lasted more than 2/3 weeks!
I phoned her the next day and initailly she would not give me a refund, then said she would give a partial one if I sent the hair back. I asked her for her address and she hung up on me! Since then, she has not returned any calls, texts or emails I have sent. I have gotten advice now from Consumer Connect as now it appears her business is not registered so I question the legitimacy of the whole set up.
Very dodgy business so please dont be fooled!!! I wouldnt want anyone else to spend all that money and get such a disgraceful result.

I have been getting my hair extensions done by asmara extensions for a long time now and what you are saying is not true, the hair is top quality, its amazing the lengths people will to to run down other competition, my hair allways looks great and allways lasts me the four months, I was recommended by my friend to go there and it was the best thing I ever did, they are alot cheaper and alot better, I have no complaints anyway, just praise for them, :)

These threads are asking for advice and are NOT to be turned into a sniping of rivel hairdressers. Help the OP or stay out of the threads. I won't have this forum used as a spam battlefield. First and ONLY warning.
