    Hi guy's,

    Just interested if anyone knows if there are carbs in lactose free milk ? - lactose is the sugar right ?

    Secondly does anyone know if it is possible to get a Soy alternative to natural yoghurt - unsweetened yoghurt ?

    You can get natural soya yoghurt, the brand I use is called Sojade, you can get it in some health food shops. There's a couple of other brands too, Alpro have one but I've never seen it, and possibly Provamel (?) but it has added sugar.

    Yes lactose free milk still has carbs in it .. there are one or two brands of soymilk out there with negligable carbs and there's also almond milk.

    Why are you avoiding natural yogurt? Unless you are allergic to dairy, I would go for a good natural yogurt, it's a much less processed food than soy yogurt.

    Op I don't know if you have tried natural yogurt, but I am lactose intolerant and was worried about it too. It doesn't actually bother me, I don't think there's much lactose in it. You should give it a go.

    thanks for the responses.

    I have given up dairy as it seems to cause me oedema - I am therefore looking for dairy free alternatives to stuff I like.
