i wonder if they do guys faces? :D

seriously, would save loads of time not having to shave. i got over the idea of wanting to grow facial hair by the time i was about 13 (it started growing in earnest from about 11), but i still keep a gotee just because it saves time shaving. :)

if i could get it all lasered off permanently it would be great, even if it was just the throat/neck area where it's sensitive to shaving and always gives me a rash that would do. :)

You won't know till you ask. However I'd imagine it's not the nicest of things to have done ;)
    Pain Factor

Laser: It feels like a rubber band ‘snapping’ against your skin and a heat sensation. Everyone has their own tolerance to pain and discomfort. Coarse, dark hair feels more of the burn. So a man’s laser hair removal in the beard and mustache area will feel more painful than a woman’s lip, cheeks or chin.

** puts hand up to volunteer **

But instead of a rubber band, how about a car tyre?

It wouldn't take him long to go back to enjoying his rash

And save a fortune on blades, if you added up all the time spent shaving it must add up to huge amounts. I did look it up before on google and could not find much on it, which I thought was surprising, I think they said it would probably start growing again here & there. Like you say trouble areas like down near the neck would be good if you didnt want the whole lot. Or even just leave the goatee area.

I think I heard the boyband bros had had it done. You can get home laser kits too, dunno how good they are.

seems a lot more hits now than when I tried years ago.

Shaving the beard area is probably the singularly most hated daily routine for men! Yet it’s essential for presenting a well-groomed, appealing presence for the workplace as well as socially. Nobody likes getting up early to shave, only to have that scruffy, unattractive five o’clock shadow by the end of the workday. The ideal answer is laser facial hair removal! Premiere Laser Centre specializes in laser beard removal, which is one of our most commonly requested procedures.

Laser beard hair removal has quickly become the number one hair removal treatment option for men. Not only is it a very effective, but it’s a relatively inexpensive and painless process as well, and the results are very long lasting. It comes as no surprise that facial hair removal for men is becoming popular so rapidly.

    How much hair is removed?

We leave that up to the individual client. Some men want to leave a goatee, or perhaps just a mustache, while others prefer to have all the beard and mustache hair removed. When you come in for your initial consultation, the technician will evaluate your individual hair and skin type, discuss your preferences, explain your treatment options, and customize the best treatment plan for you.

Who is a Candidate for Laser Beard Removal?

Ideal candidates for laser beard removal are those men having black or brown facial hair. This is because the laser light used to destroy the hair follicle roots is absorbed readily by dark colored pigmentation. If you’re a man who has naturally blond or light-colored hair, you may still be a good candidate for laser hair removal if the facial hair grows in dark, as is often the case.

    How long will it take?

Laser hair removal is much faster than other methods of hair removal. On the average, treatment of the whole beard area will most likely take between thirty and sixty minutes.

    Is laser hair removal painful?

It’s a relatively painless process, and our highly trained technicians know how to perform your treatment with very little discomfort. If the facial hair is very dense or if the client has sensitive skin, we can apply an effective, prescription-strength topical anesthetic before treatment. The anesthetic gel compound we use is mixed at a pharmacy according to our precise specifications. This way our clients are assured of having a stress-free and pain-free experience.

How much does Laser beard removal cost?

The cost of laser facial hair removal is surprisingly affordable, especially in comparison to other hair removal methods. Although prices do vary depending on the amount and texture of the hair, the cost can be as little as $150 per session for treatment of the neck area.
