Are we talking here, tight curls, afros, ringlets, long hair, short hair,poodles, perms? Way too many variables tbh.
As an alternative are you thinking of using a straightener to rid yourself of curls?

As a woman with curly hair I've long discovered that no matter what if you have curly hair you have to embrace it fully, and wear it with some attitude. The exact same style can look great on one guy (or girl) and stupid on another. In general, curls on guys fall into one of 2 camps- geeky (and not in a good way) a la this:



or incredibly cool, a la this:



I know it seems there like they are 2 totally different styles, and they are, but Seth Rogen, for example has the jew-fro thing going on like the first guy but he rocks it-

I know your pain....my OH has lovely dark curls that he keeps cutting off

Big bushy curly hair is not hot.
