Hey y'all. I've decided most of my handbags are too scruffy for work. I'd like to get one or two nice ones which will make me look like a serious grownup (hah!) but I still have the budget of a scruffbag.

I was thinking I'd like something sorta structured likea Mulberry Bayswater but with a price tag of about 1/10th :-/ I also have no interest in designer labels at all so wouldn't bother shelling out for a replica which would probably be shoddily made in a sweatshop in taiwan but still costing 200 bucks. I more mean I'd like something in that sorta style.

On the otherhand, I could just do with some suggestions really. I have one nice 'grownup' handbag I got ages ago in Awear but it's a bit knackered now; was in there the other day and didn't notice anything particularly good.

Any ideas? Where do you buy your work handbags? And how much should i realistically expect to spend? (I guess I'd want real leather, unless it was good fake - do you think it'd be possible to get something decent looking for around 50 yo yos?)

This is similar to the Bayswater, from Marks and Spencers linky.

Some nice ones on Asos too. I like this one link. Not as classy as the Bays, but a little funky, and is real leather.

tk maxx has a great selection of bags, sure youd find something there, and while their stock might consist of castoffs or leftovers from last season, they are mostly great quaility!

Thanks so much for the suggestions, hadn't thought of either M&S or tk maxx, from a quick glance at the M&S it looks like they've LOADS of the sorta things I'm looking for. Cheers for the inspiration! :)
