Stop eating bread then...bring a couple of boiled eggs in with you..or a couple of bannanas..its up to you,but if you wanna feel full without eating bread switch it for something else.

The best alternative to bread is no bread.
Some wraps are slightly better, but still not great options.

I'm planning on using lettuce leaves instead of wraps sort of like yuk sung tonight

Oatcakes are good, have them with a small tin of tuna or a couple of boiled eggs or cottage cheese!

Lettuce leaves are a good alternative. Think rubadub pointed me to that one. I now use them for burgers and eat more burger instead of the bundy.

Ryvita are decent enough too. Around 30 calories per slice. Good fibre content.

    Doesn't that get messy?

I double up on the iceberg lettuce leaves when I use them and I always try and use the outside leaves which are bigger so can wrap the contents better and therefore it works out a bit less messy

Depends if it's sliced pan(rubbish) or actual wheaten bread, and it really depends on your goals too.

+1 on the oatcakes and ryvita - great alternatives. Or just have salads instead of sandwiches. Pretty easy to wean yourself off the oul bread, just give it a week or too.

have you tried Flax seed bread ? OK its not bread but it kind of has the look of bread - it can soak up oils etc like bread and you can make a sandwich out of it

youtube if you are interested - its not bad at all and very easy to make ( there is a microwave version thats just as good as the baked )

Not really, as I mention above i was having them last night. My first time.
They were very handy. i imagine fajita wraps, where if you fold up the bottom it keeps everything from falling out. Well lettuce is very flexible, leav enough at the end to fold up and its stays together as a handy parcel.

FFS, i'm thinking too much about them now. Guess they are on the menu again tonight.
