sim locked

    hi, i plugged my phone into itunes today and it asked if i wanted to upgrade to the latest software, i said yes and upgraded it but now my it says sim locked. i didnt have a lock on it before.
    what code do i need to unlock it? will they know in the shop where i bought it?

    have you tried entering you pin code? i know my phone when i turn it on it says "sim locked" and operates like an itouch, i enter my pin and it goes back into phone mode....

    Yes, it's simply looking for your PIN.
