Converting avi to h264-your preferred sw on pc?

    Wondering what you would recommend for good batch conversion of avi files to h264?(and others)

    For iPad and appletv use

    Tried handbrake but it's slow and keeps crashing

    I only use Daniusoft Video Converter Ultimate, it's integrated with full function of DVD Ripper, Video Converter, DRM Removal, DVD Creator, Youtube Downloader, etc and the latest version support 5X faster video conversion on any computer with a CUDA-enabled graphics card. that's really great, you can check it out here:

    Thanks I'll look at it, seems just what is needed. Do you use the full version that allows Photo Management ? Curious and Ive discovered that is another challenge ! Also it looks just like the software "IMtoo"

    No redman, i dont use the one for photo management, just for converting vids, and it does that nicely. Yep, it is the same as imtoo, not sure if there the same people that make it, but the two programs are very similar.

    Can't go wrong with this prog though.

    Aiseesoft iPad converter suite. $35 and well worth it. Will batch 50 vids no problem add them, click convert & walk away, does about 4x or 5x conversion speed depending on computer specs
