Here is a good documentary I found on farming after fossil fuels.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xShCEKL-mQ8

There are 6 parts, its about 1 hour long. It talks about how biofuel production is likely not to be sufficient to power tractors and machinery etc. Also about new ways of farming to use less energy.

Watched that there last night and thought it was very interesting alright. But I still don't really see how farming is going to scale up from small self sufficient permaculture setups to an industry that feed a nation? But it did raise a lot of questions, and worries, about the future :(

Interesting stuff robototitco, I have a hay knife, slean, two and three pronk fork and a wheel barrow I must stock up on hand cream for the blisters.

One thing I feel they forgot is someone growing their own crops to convert to fuel, also electric quads run off turbines, I'm nit picking here about something that was very good but I cant help feel there was an agenda there

I honestly think if the worst came to the worst Ireland could feed itself, the diet mightn't be varied but we would manage
