As Paul McKinley is one of the most self-underplaying people I know, I feel it only right that some of you folks know a little bit more about the man who gave all his winnings on the Big Money Show tonight to St Michael's House.
Paul works in The Wicklow Times ( just an ordinary worker, - good reporter, excellent photographer, but just an ordinary worker ) He's every bit as likely to lose his job in this recession as the next guy. That's why I think his giving away his winnings was a big deal.
He's a member of MENSA, appreciates the intelligent company that brings him into contact with, and his own gift/blessing, and that's why, more than anything, I think he chose St Michael's House, and those there who are helping people with intellectual disability, to get 'his' windfall.

    I applaud his generousity.
