    Hi,

Just wondering what are peoples opinions on the KWA/Marui Glock 17. There's only a tenner in the difference, though the KWA has a metal slide. I know Marui are pretty much the premium, but I'd like to hear a few opinions anyway.

    Thanks.

yeah i got the toyko marui g17 myself. it was a toss up between the kwa and the tm and i went with the tm.

i believe the internals are better and more open to modification.
the kwa does have a metal slide where the tokyo marui has a plastic one but it still works great and you can get a metal slide in the future when upgrading barrels etc.
i shot both the kwa and tokyo marui g17 and didnt notice much difference.

yup touge drift got one after haveing a look at mine up in oakridge :D
    i love my TM one.
chronos 260-270fps on green gas with a efective range of 50-60ft [range useing .25]
im geting a PDI tight bore and TK barrel for it to campare both along with a PDI piston head for a better air seal and maybe a few more FPS.
the TM dose feel very light and toylike.
i think its a good secondery, only thing i dont like is the mags leak as you fill them.

you can get metle/alloy slide's and frames aswell if u wish.
the real G17 has a polymer frame and steel slide.

x2 on that its a real good secondaryand has saved me a few times over the last 2 weeks.
in the box it comes with extra sights for night time use and some spare parts which im unsure of what they are just yet. the user manual is brilliant if you can read japanese, otherwise useless but has great pictures.

going to upgrade mine as soon as i finish my primary aeg.

one thing i witnessed on the kwa g17 the mag had a habbit of slipping out when in the hoslter if you leaned the wrong way
