    Can you remove the M4's front iron sight,i mean the triangular front sight beside the flash hider.

    Most A-Post front sights can be removed
    You need to tap out the two pins holding the sight to the barrel
    You will need a small punch and a hammer, it may need a few firm taps with the hammer but dont go overboard
    Many sights also have a grub screw underneath the front sling point
    Remove that pin also and loosen the grub screw
    It is probally a 3mm screw so you will need a 1.5mm allen key

    Hate those triangle sights as well..really tempted to remove mine and get something much like the iron sighs on the M4 in MW2 (i know i know :) )..
    but they seem way better...


    Here's a pic...anyone know if anyone does sights like these? had a look on ehobby but saw nothing :(

    just spotted them on ehobby alright...but they use a rail...which I don't have..

    EeI think it looks like a pri site could be wrong had a similar one an m4 ages ago think ehobby or ebaybanned search for flip sight they had a nice vltor one that when folded flat it had an his best of both worlds
