    I live above a restaurant.
In an apartment. My window faces out on to the walk way to the stairs I genrally have it open most of the time.

Any way theres a waiter in that restaurant who he sits on the stairs chatting on his phone for about all sorts of bull ****, the voice carrys like a gun shot. I get woken up bye him talking if its not that its the extractor fan or something to do with the below restaurant.

How would you deal with it?

he has no right to be any where near the stairs yet he sits there chating like its perfectly ok when its not...,

Im not getting old or grumpy its just seriously head wrecking

    1. Close your window
    2. Tell him your problem
    3. iPod + SimplyNoise
    4. All of the above

    Emm, close the window?

Seriously though, I can understand the frustration, but what time does it open/close? restaurants tend not to be open as early as shops or close as late as pubs...

Start using the window as a toilet. He'll stop sitting out there.

Put smarties tubes on a cat's legs and watch it walk like a robot. It won't help with the problem but it's a great way to unwind.
