    Hi

I occasionally use my laptop with a projector and it usually changes the screen to a wide fuzzy display automatically and then after a few days of not using the projector it goes back to normal. But I have not used the projector in a week and two days ago I turned on the laptop and the display screen had randomly gone the way it usually goes if I hook it up to the projector for no reason.

However this time the dispaly isn't just stretched and fuzzy, everything is massive on the screen and I cannot figure out if it is something I have done and indeed what can I do to sort it as it is a nuisance.

    Cheers

What operating system are you using?

To change the resolution, right click the desktop and select properties. Then select settings. Look for the resolution adjustment towards the bottom left of the screen. Try a few to see which one you prefer. Hopefully one of them will fit the screen.

Using Vista. Just went into settings there. I have managed to reduce the size by selecting one of the three resolution settings available but now it is all too small. When I look at a webpage there is two white brackets either side of the screen?

Update on this. After changing the screen settings I re-started the laptop and she seems to have settled into the new settings without an issue now.

Thanks to all for the replies
