Rust on trailer

    Hi all,
    Does anyone of what i can put on the floor of my trailer to kill some rust that is after appearing on it ??

    I've user Fertan in the past and it seems to convert the rust back into metal. Might be worth a try.

    I find it hard to imagine anything converting rust back into metal, though it might be chemically possible and I stand to be corrected. I'd say that Fertan stuff just dissolves the rust and makes it easier to clean off.

    Treatment would typically be removal of the rust (by wire brush, sand blasting, chemical agent, etc) and re-treatment (by painting or galvanising maybe). If the rust is bad enough you might need to replace some of the floor.
