One of the world's largest aircraft has been forced to divert at land at Shannon Airport after experiencing problems with one of it's engines over the Atlantic.

Only the 124, i was hoping to see a 225, sure the 124's were common as muck in EINN a few years back.

Thanks for the link. The article says just a single 225 was built , is this correct ?

Yes that is right, but a second one was being built at one time. Work on it was abandoned a couple of years ago I think. Not sure if it will get completed, but for now there is only the one.
