Ignition coil for an import 99 MX5

    Hi all,

    looking for an ignition coil for a 99 mx5 1.6, anyone got an idea where i would find one, new or used? Mazda say 2 weeks to get the part in. I have a few sourced in the UK but i am not confident that the part will be correct as i have tried approx 5/6 different coil packs and all have been different to the one installed in the car..

    was in contact with those today. Part will be in stock there in 7 days, hoping i can swing something before then!

    But cheapest will be from a Mazda dealer in the US - search out Montgomery Mazda and email a guy called Jason there. They will also send the unit with the invoice in a separate letter if you ask them (UPS etc tend to root through packets looking for invoices if they see the packet marked 'gift' do they can stiff you got Customs duty)
