usually see carling at €1 a can in off licences in Cork last month, as is Supervalu.
Also have Karpackie 5.6% lager for euro a can in supervalu last week.

    ooo Karpackie is nice ;)
Carry out off licence has bitBurger (very nice german lager) 8-pack for 8 euros... a lot better than carling :)

Any ideas what %ABV Carling cans are? I had it before and it is nice but a bit watery for my liking and it can lose its head fast. But maybe I had one of these 3.8% versions?

Best deal Ive found at the moment for a 'telly watching beer' is Amstel from O'Briens. Tastes better than the so called 'premium lagers'. ?1 a can 4.3% and its actually brewed it Holland as opposed to BUL. Big advantage is if your fridge is empty you can get it from the cooler so no waiting around while you try to freeze cans bought off the shelf at the last minute lol.

O'Briens have Carsberg 24 for €25 too. They usually have some good regular beer deals posted up here and you used to be able to win a crate of beer on Friday from them too although that seems to be gone now :(

Tesco Jervis must have the most useless off license of the lot! They have no cans of Carling bar the 8 pack @ 9 something and the 15 44cl cans of fosters were €15 yesterday :(
