    Hello there!

I have a bit of question regarding the Learner Permit. Today I went into to renew my LP as it was going to be out of date on Monday. Now since the clerk in the motor tax office took my LP, so where does that leave me in regard if I am stopped by an garda siochanna? Can I show them the docket saying that I paid for a renewal? Or should I wait until the LP comes out in the post (which could be up to 5 days).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    richard
