HD3 Accel PCI Rig for sale

I am selling a powerful ProTools HD Rig.
Ideally someone will take it all as a working unit.
Package price would reflect that.
However there are many options that would work.
You may want a HD2 rig, or just an Accel Card or two.
Note I am not selling my HD192 interface. However these are widely available and there are many interface options these day.
I note an Apogee AD16X with HD compatibility, over at adverts.ie.

rob, your post caused me to doubt my research and pricing.

I just called Adam at Funkyjunk.
Note non VAT registered customers have to pay 21% Irish VAT.


Funky Junk prices quoted today.

HD1 Core for GBP 850 excluding VAT
Equivalent here is €1250

Process cards, i.e. not Accel, GBP600 excluding VAT.
Equivalent here €885

Accel Process cards GBP800 excluding VAT.
Equivalent here is €1180

My process cards are Accel. The 7.4 software comes with it the HD1 Core.
I based my prices on recent actual sales in the USA.
I used the Digidesign Users forum and Gearslutz.

I may review my Core price down a tad, but my Accel's seem seriously cheap
by FunkyJunk standards.

Adam has a HD3 Regular, not Accel for €3K including Irish VAT.
My Accel rig has twice the processing power of that.


Anyone likely to buy this is also likely to know who I am, as I mentioned a studio name.
The GBP450 for Process cards seems very off the mark.

Well, you know what they say about the UK..... LOL
Maybe there was some other Digi Process card before the HD?

My prices are pretty much on the mark internationally. I did the homework.
Information from Funky Junk seems a bit variable eh?
From my last post, a HD3 Accel from me is going for about the same price as a regular HD3, with half the processing power, at Funky.

What are you interested in, HD1, 2, or 3?

This is a powerhouse rig. The only issue is PCI. There are ways to future proof this, e.g. buy a couple of G5's ( very many hitting the market right now) or a PC with PCI slots, or a Magma chassis for forever.

Can't seem to edit the original post. In the light of the chat here and Funky Junks prices I have dropped the price of the HD1 Core Down, but raised the price of the Accels. Also the prices are now non-negotiable.

HD1 Core Card only €1200
Accel Card only €1000
HD2 Core plus Accel €2000
HD3 Core plus 2 Accels €2800
