Facetime over 3G

    It's out now for all those jailbroken out there, it's called Facebreak. It's $1.49, I guess it'd be worth picking up if I knew anyone I wanted to speak to with an iP4 :-)

    I know the feeling. The few of my mates that have iPhones have 3GS, there's a whole new sub group of iPhone 4 Billy-no-mates.

    Get 3g unrestrictor of cydia and it will alout facetime over 3g. A facetime call will use 5mb of data per minute

    Fring already works with video calls from iPhone 4 to iPhone 3GS. The 3GS uses the back camera. Haven't tried iPhone 4 to 4 yet via fring.

    Just standard fring, I think. I have Facebook, Google Talk and Fring set up. I'm pretty sure I pick Fring call for video.

    The video isn't great, and by not great, it's pretty much the same as 3G video calling as it has been. Nowhere near the speed/quality of Facetime.

    I bought My3G from Cydia/Rock the other day for $4, works perfect

    31mb for a 10min facetime call to a mate who was on wifi....think it was 19mb sent & 12 received or thereabouts
