    Hey there,

In early June I opened a JS claim to earn some money for Uni this year. (I know I'm not supposed to get it I think if I'm studying) but they opened it anyways.

I got a phone call today with a woman saying I will be getting it next week, all back dated from June.

10 mins later she rings me telling me I wont be getting it as I've only 98 stamps out of 102 (I think its 102) or something like that.

So much for waiting 2 months for false hope.

Anything I can do? Probs won't be going to Uni now as I can't afford to stay there for the first few months.

    Talk about being gutted.

Have you applied for a grant (have a look at www.studentfinance.ie )

also you might be able to get extra funding through the student assistance fund

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

    Hey,

Yep I have and I'm totally grateful that I'm getting something its just the lack of cash as soon as I get over there as the grant usually comes a few months late.
