I haven't bought an iPhone 4 yet, but I was hoping you could provide some feedback based on some key areas. What would you give the iPhone 4 out of 10 for the followings areas:

    Battery Life
    Scratch Resistance(front and back)
    Drop proofness
    Camera Quality
    Call Quality
    Value for money

    Thanks

isint there loads of these threads already?

Battery Life - 2 days at least (general surfing, 3G on, occasional WiFi, calls, texts few photos etc)
Scratch Resistance(front and back) -nothing so far, as i cross my fingers :) i use a bumper too.
    Drop proofness -see thread http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055997575
Camera Quality -more than what i need
Call Quality - perfect, better than my 3Gs and no signal/call dropping problems (Meteor Network)
Value for money - suits me as i used to take my iPod Touch everywhere, now i have everything in one little device!

Battery Life - I get at least two days with moderate to heavy usage.

Scratch Resistance(front and back) - nothing yet, but I'm incredibly pedantic about not scratching it - I don't use a bumper or a case.

Drop proofness - haven't dropped it and hopefully I won't have to test this.

Camera Quality - Excellent. I was surprised with how good the quality is. I've now nearly retired my 10MP point and shoot in favor of the phone.

Call Quality - Have had absolutely no issues with call quaility, so called grip of death, reduced signal, dropped calls. The quality has been perfect so far - I'm with O2 btw.

Value for money - all things considered I'm extremely happy with my iPhone4. Then again I did upgrade from a 3G so the improments are all the more evident. The speed of the phone is one if my favourtie features. It's lightning fast.

Battery Life - Still charge every night, but the phone is never below 50% at the end of the day
Scratch Resistance(front and back) - it's 2 pains of glass, it will scratch from keys in pocket eventually.
Drop proofness - really wouldn't reccommend testing, check out youtube for examples but it weight 2 grams more than 3GS and is smaller so denser and again, more glass, do the maths.
Camera Quality - brilliant. Haven't seen anything like it on a phone, you can take 5 photos in 5 seconds.
Call Quality - noticing more dropped calls but not sure if its O2, where I am, or antenna. Doubt its antenna. Most ppl will be paranoid.
Value for money - definately. For a lightning quick mini-pc in your pocket with good camera, HD video's, multitasking and looks slick as hell, yes yes yes.

    Battery Life

Like all iphones it's pretty crap but usb charger makes it less annoying if you work with a computer all day.

    Scratch Resistance(front and back)

    Perfect so far

    Drop proofness

Haven't dropped it and I refuse to use a case

    Camera Quality

    Very nice

    Call Quality

I find the speaker much clearer than the 3GS

    Value for money

    Good for what you get

    Battery Life
Depends on the usage, the first couple of days I was preety much using it non stop, and had to charge it each night - but now it lasts for a good two days with a bit of usage - if you turn aeroplane mode on at night time, it
    saves ALOT of battery.

    Scratch Resistance(front and back)
Diabolical, a case is really needed for this iPhone. For the first week I was caseless, awaiting an online order - the side bezels are slightly damaged and I would imagine any longer and the glass would have been also.

    Drop proofness
It feels very fragile, I had dropped it once on concrete without a case and luckily it survived but I wouldn't like to do it again.
The case I bought (a cheapy one) adds a bit of buffer to the phone, which seems to help.

    Camera Quality
Camera quality is exceptional for a mobile device, and the video recording is also very crisp.

    Call Quality
Call quality is an improvement on my previous phone (Samsung Tocco) and I have no complaints.

    Value for money
For the 209€ I paid for the 16GB version from three, I find it to be very good value for money. It's not only a phone - but an internet device, advanced music player and a games console.

    Battery Life
Very good – get 2 days with normal use.

    Scratch Resistance(front and back)
    Too early to say.

    Drop proofness
Not dropped yet, would say less "slippy" than my 3G, which was like a soap bar.

    Camera Quality
Not as good as I expected, but impressed with the video.

    Call Quality
Hard to tell so far – I've not had many dropped calls.

    Value for money
    Great

Battery Life. Exellent. Even with heavy use haven't managed to get it as low as 3G used to get after a few hours heavy use.

Scatches. None so far. Find that a micro fibre cloth is excellent for screen cleaning. Have Kensington case for it. More to give it grip than anything. Also like to keep it screen inwards when it's in my pocket and case helps me figure out which way it's laying in pocket.

    Drop Proofness. *touch wood*

Camera. Amazing compared to 3G. Video is superb quality. Girl in O2 shop said best she ever saw on any phone when I showed her one.

Call quality. No complaints. No dropped calls. Speaker for speaker phone much clearer.

Value for money. Excellent. So much more than just a phone.

    iPhone 4 16mb. iOS 4.0.1 Jailbroken.

The reason I have instructed to turn Aeroplane mode on, and not the phone off is because alarms will not sound if the phone is fully off.

Forgot to turn Location Services off last night and noticed a 10% drop this morning.

Hmm, that's odd. I wonder if any apps stay open in multi tasking and use anything while in sleep mode?

Battery life is brilliant so far. Only have the phone a week but that's the most noticeable difference from the 3GS. It's way way better.

    Scratch Resistance(front and back)
Not really sure... I don't have any scratches yet, but I'm rather careful with it in general.

    Drop proofness
    em, haven't tested it :p

    Camera Quality
Pretty good. Not sure you'd notice the differences on the phone itself, but if you're uploading the pics then you get a better quality photo.

    Call Quality
I'm having some problems, but I think that's more to do with the network. It's more signal issues than call quality though.

    Value for money
I lost my 3GS last week and had to use a friends old phone.... some standard nokia. Oh dear god.... it was horrific
How does everyone not have an iphone (or similar decent android etc) at this stage???
€300...... For the price of a few big nights out in town you get a piece of technology that you can't do without....yes, value for money :D
