    I have been thinking about going back to do a subject in my leaving cert so i can go back to collage...

    How does one go about aplying to do a subject for the leaving??

    I want to go back and do physics, can this be done without going back to school

    Yes it can. You apply as an external student to the SEC.
    Details here.

    At the moment the info on that site is still for this year's exams, but wait til about October and apply then to entries@examinations.ie . Don't leave it later than early January as late fees will apply.

    This year's fee for an external repeat candidate was €109 for one subject.

    If you have a medical card the fee is waived.
