Looking for a short walk in Wicklow/Dublin

    Hi,

Myself and a few friends are planning to head towards the Dublin/Wicklow Mts after work this evening for a few hours. We're looking for a walk with good scenery that will take 1 to 2 hours tops. My ankle's a bit sore, so I don't want anything too rocky or insanely steep, though a normal incline is fine. We only have one car FYI.

We'll be leaving Blackrock around half five and would prefer the Dublin rather than Wicklow Mts as two of us have never been, but we're open to all suggestions.

Would love to hear any ideas anyone might have.

    Thanks.

Park on Bray sea front and walk over the hill to Greystones, get the DART back. Nice walk :)

Thanks but I've actually done that one before, was thinking of something more in the Wicklow/Dublin Mts proper if possible. Though Bray-Greystones is still an option.

You might have a look here http://www.everytrail.com/view_trip.php?trip_id=547560 for a circuit at the Scalp - note instructions for those with cars.
You'll find other suggestions on this site.

Have a look www.dmp.ie for a couple of short walks with maps that should be OK on a dodge ankle.
