Getting a PS3

    I want to get a PS3 later on today, Just wondering is there a really good deal anywhere?

    The shops that come to mind near where I live are gamestop, xtravision, Smyths and Argos, any of these places have a really good deal going on now or are they all pretty much the same?

    Not sure about the other shops, but the Argos deal (p 1701 in the Autumn/Winter 2010 catalogue) is 250GB PS3 for €349.99 with 2 free games. Choose from the following games:
    • Infamous
    • Motorstorm
    • Little Big Planet
    • Uncharted
    • Uncharted 2
    • Dirt 2
    • GT5 Prologue
    • Resistance 2

    You will probably pay €350 for a 250GB (~€300 for a 120GB model) in all of the shops local to you, they may have slightly different bundles, it's just a matter of preference to the bundles offered.

    The last time a friend and I were looking for one, Game and HMV had the best deals.

    Got mine in game about a month and a half ago,

    €300 for 120gb slim new, take €30 off with student discount so got it for €270!
