Health Insurance

I'm heading to Sydney soon and looked up the cost of health insurance. To change my plan to a global plan will cost about €80 a month, which seems quite expensive but might be essential.

If you have had any health incidents, how have you found the cost of doctors/hospitals/dentists?

    Thanks.

There is a reciprocal agreement between ROI & Australia that allows you to free emergency treatment at hospitals.

As for the other matters then you have to work out what will suit you best. If you are only here for a short time then maybe a good Travel Insurance policy could suit. If it's for a longer period then shop around the various companies here. There are quite a few & they vary a lot.

Try a site like YouCompare.com to get the various prices but be aware some companies are not represented.
