Visiting Jet Fighters

    .. There it goes again..
Just spotted another jet fighter on its approach to Casement, couldn't grab the binocs fast enough to make out where it hails from. This seems to be becoming a regular occurance. One day a few weeks ago several jet fighters, of different designs as far as I could make out, landed at Casement within an hour or two. Anybody any idea what's going on? or are our defence chiefs just fingering some expensive new toys?

Jez I dont know what you are going on about, there are visiting foreign air forces to Bal almost on a weekly basis either on a goodwill or a training flights. would it not be worse if no one came over to visit.

I saw it on approach as well earlier, looked like an Alpha jet.

I can sum up your post with a smiley....... :pac:

They are French Air Force Alpha Jets, on Nav exercises this is nothing new by the way.:)

Alpha Jets are far from "Fighters" they would be classed as a Light Attack Aircraft/Advanced Jet Trainer.
