Firstly, thanks to Victor and Calina for allowing me to post this here.

With the near completion of the MIU motorways expected by late autumn, we (and that's not a royal we, by the way - rather BluntGuy, tech2 and myself) have decided that a meet-up of boards.ie posters who share an interest in transport would be a nice idea. Nothing extravagant; just an informal couple of hours of chat over a few beers in a nice pub that serves good food.

Given that we have posters from all over the country, we're going to meet in Athlone at around 7pm on 28 August. We understand that a lot of people won't be able to make it, but if you think you'd like to come along, know that you are very welcome. Just let us know on this thread so we'll have some idea of numbers, etc.
