I've got an HP Pavilion 6000 series, which is only 2 years old, but the video card's gone, so need to get a new one. Yes - I know all about the probs with the video cards and naff batteries...smile.gif Not having much luck with my electrical bits at the moment.

So now, I need to get a new one. I don't want a Dell, and reluctant to get another HP, so am looking at a Tosh. I've also looked at Samsung and Asus, but don't know too much about them TBH.

What I'd like the laptop for is to surf, chat to my friends, upload photos and music. (I have iTunes) Reasonable processor (Not Celeron which I think is still being sold), and reasonable HDD. Don't want to spend more than E600.

    Any help/advice welcome - TIA smile.gif
