    Hi,

I am hoping to do some market research for a business venture I want to do. This service is already currently in the market but I have ways of better improving it.

I am just wondering what is the best way to distribute the survey? E-mails, door to door, schools or Facebook.

I would appreciate any help or any ideas on how to proceed with this.

    Cheers

It really depends on the demographic of your target market, what type of data you are looking to find and how precise the data has to be.
Anymore details on what the product/service is?

    Thanks for the response mate.

Its basically in retail (I don't want to give too much away) but I suppose I really have to look for the following:
    • Determine if what's wrong with the current service is true
    • Determine if my service will improve the existing service
    • Age group I am looking at is the young adult group
    • Where the best area is to start up? Eg what city or town

I am quite keen on getting this idea off the ground and just need a prod in the right direction would be great.

    Try Retail Excellence Ireland.

They have no agenda except to represent Retailers and are well worth joining

How about running an Adwords campaign to a survey landing page?

Surveymonkey.com provide brilliant surveying and end of survey analysis tools.

But of course you will also have to find a way to drive suitable people to your survey monkey page. So maybe facebook coupled with survey monkey could work.

Talk to football clubs, also you could head to a few gealtachts and survey students there give the time of the year.
