    hi,
just looking for a bit of advise and help please.

i want to paint a portion of my fence and also my shed but i am having difficulty finding paint to do this. i am looking for a pale green that completely blocks the wood. culprinol still shows the woodgrain through the paint and i do not want this.
looking for a country cottage look.

    any suggestions greatly appreciated.

proper oil based paints will cover it over but it will eventually weather and will be a PITA to sand off and re do so IMO, stick with a stain like sadolins or cuprinol (sic)

Colourtrend do an external waterbased eggshell that can be mixed into any colour.Very easy to apply. Only thing is it is a slightly dearer paint.
